After 30 years of continous research and development, Fusion Enertech retains a complete lithium product technology chain.  From absorbent, industrial grade LCE, battery grade lithium carbonate, ultra-high purity LCE to high purity monohydrate lithium hydroxide; Fusion Enertech are the experts in the field of lithium extraction via absorption with a well proven track record.

First Success

Our Research and Development team began their study of lithium extraction technology from salt lakes and core material for extraction since the 90s. It was only until 2002 when they took root at Chaerhan Salt Lake in Qinghai of China, the team successfully produced lithium carbonate from brine at a purity of 99.6%.

World's first LCE production via absorption

Our team designed and comissioned the world's first 10,000 ton absorption lithium carbonate extraction plant at Chaerhan Salt Lake. Lake Lithium production base was commissioned in 2010 successfully extracting lithium by absorption from magnesium saturated brine (2000:1). The project is currently undergoing expansion to a 30,000 ton/year capacity.

LiEM Plant

Lithium-ion Enrichment Material (LiEM) plant

Fusion Enertech was established in 2015, when a second generation absorbent - LiEM was developed. The patented technology well exceeded the performance of the first with high extraction rates and durability. A production plant was commissioned in Huizhou in 2017 with an annual production capacity of 1,800. To this date, LiEM remains highly demanded for lithium extractors.

Latin America Developments

Many countries have promulgated laws to recognize absorption being the only form of extraction due to the harmful enviromental effects from the conventional evaporation method. Fusion Enertech has taken the opportunity to sign Strategic Cooperation Schemes with various countries and set up local offices.
